01 · Acceptance
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.macvetservices.com (the "Site"), operated by Midwest Anesthesia Consulting Veterinary Services LLC, doing business as MACvet Services ("MACvet," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02 · Site & Services
Description of the site and services
The Site is informational. It describes MACvet's veterinary anesthesia consulting and continuing education offerings, hosts educational content, and provides a contact form for inquiries.
Engagement of MACvet's paid consultation or training services is governed by a separately executed Consultation and Training Service Agreement (the "Service Agreement"). Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to provide services or creates a contractual obligation to deliver services. A Service Agreement must be signed before any consultation or training is provided.
03 · Permitted Use
Permitted use of the site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract content from the Site by automated means without our prior written consent
- Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us through the Site
04 · Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights
All content on the Site — including text, articles, blog posts, training material previews, images, graphics, logos, the MACvet name and branding, and the underlying code — is the exclusive property of MACvet or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or use Site content for commercial or instructional purposes without MACvet's prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in legal action, including claims for injunctive relief, damages, and recovery of legal fees.
05 · Your Submissions
Information you submit
When you submit information through the Site (for example, via the contact form), you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the authority to share it.
We treat clinical case information shared through inquiries as confidential and use it only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. See our Privacy Policy for details on how submitted information is handled.
06 · Medical Information
Medical and clinical information disclaimer
Content on the Site — including blog posts, guideline summaries, and resource pages — is educational and informational in nature. It is not individualized veterinary advice and does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
You must rely on the professional judgment of the attending veterinarian for any clinical decision. See our Medical Disclaimer for full terms.
07 · Third-Party Links
Third-party links and content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, references to external publications, or embedded social media content. We provide these links and references as a convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.
08 · Disclaimers
Site provided on an as-is basis
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
09 · Limitation of Liability
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MACvet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, or end-client (e.g., pet owner) dissatisfaction — arising from or related to your use of the Site or its content.
Responsibility for clinical case outcomes remains with the attending veterinarian and the veterinary practice. This limitation applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and survives termination of these Terms.
10 · Indemnification
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MACvet, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11 · Force Majeure
